Friday, October 6th was the release date for Ken Carson’s third album “A Great Chaos”. Ken is signed to Playboi Carti’s music label Opium and so is his best friend Destroy Lonely who is featured on this album. The other featured artist is Lil Uzi Vert who is a very popular rapper. In this article I will be going over my 5 favorite songs on this album.
#5 Me N My Kup: This song was pretty solid. I like the weird beats in this song. 808 Mafia produced this song and I thought the creepy production worked well with Ken’s vocals.
#4 Like This (feat. Lil Uzi Vert, Destroy Lonely): When I heard that Lil Uzi was going to be on this song I got excited for the listen, but realized when it came out his parts are probably the worst part, although he isn’t bad. Destroy Lonely was my favorite on this song for sure. Ken sounded good too.
#3 Fighting My Demons: This song is definitely the most popular on this album and I understand because it is good although it isn’t my favorite. I liked the hook on this song. It was good and pretty catchy. I liked the weird beats too.
#2 Singapore (feat. Destroy Lonely): 808 Mafia had some good production on this song especially the synth. Destroy Lonely sounded good on this song like he usually does with Ken.
#1 Jennifer’s Body: This song was my favorite and clears all songs on this album, in my opinion. It is a super fun track and the beginning is a little funny. Ken sounds really good on this track too and it’s generally great.
Overall I thought this album was decent, but I only liked the 5 songs in this article.
