I’m born in 2013, while on the other hand my brother was born in 2010 and whenever we would watch shows together it would be classic 2010 shows. It’s fun to revisit the shows I would watch and bring back memories. These are some of my favorites and most iconic ones.
- This first one is the one that all parents hated having their kids watch, Caillou. This show is the recipe for whining kids, Caillou is so funny and ridiculous that I can’t even believe I enjoyed watching it.
- The Backyardegens is the most random show but very entertaining. I am surprised to hear that a lot of kids have not seen this show.
- The magic school bus, the most classic show to watch during a rainy day at school or perhaps in between zoom calls in covid.
- This show, I don’t remember as much until I see a clip of it and all the memories come back, Little Einsteins or Baby Einsteins, “we’re going on trip in our favorite rocket ship.”
- Dora the explorer is not how I learned basic spanish, I couldn’t understand anything, I was just watching backpack fly around the sky.
- For all my PBS kids, the staple Daniel Tiger, I could still watch it today and be interested. This show is a spin off of Mr Rodgers neighborhood, a popular show from the late 60s to 2000s.
- Peppa pig is one of the most iconic shows in my opinion, the show is very entertaining and has humor for everyone.
- Odd Squad is another one from PBS kids and feels slightly more mature for the more curious squad. I watched this show religiously.
- Sid the science kid is a show that kept the musical feel alive while actually teaching you things, a show animated with clay is quite interesting.
- Arthur is another PBS kids show about a bunny like cat, mouse creature kid. This show I don’t remember as much but I definitely watched it a lot.
- Doc Mcstuffens, what can I say, me and my friends would watch this all the time and pretend to be her, I even created my own doctors office in my closet under the stairs.
- Bubble guppies is a show I didn’t watch that much but I included it because it’s a fan favorite.
- Wild Kratts is also one I don’t remember that well but it had lots of adventures and was another big staple and iconic show for many kids.
- My Little Pony is such an iconic girlhood tv show, with sparkles and rainbows and a huge fandom full of little girls.
- I’m not sure how many people watched this show but this is one of my favorite shows, Max and Ruby “Ruby and Max”. Bunny siblings roaming around, having arguments, and fun plays was such an amazing show.
- Curious George is still iconic to this day and has the best characteristics to each and every character.
- My last one is one I don’t think many people would know, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom. This show has the same voice actors of Peppa Pig. It’s about fairies and gnomes in a little kingdom. There are so many tv shows that I could name, these are just some that stuck out to me.
