High Potential is a TV show about Morgan Gillory, a single mom of three that has an IQ of 160. Morgan works as a cleaning person in office buildings. One night when she was cleaning she knocked over a file from the murder of Anthony Acosta. She started to solve the case. She found some important clues and wrote them on a board in the office building. The detectives were trying to figure out who had written on the board. They looked at the security cameras to see who wrote on the board. Then Morgan was called in and Selena Soto started to ask Morgan to see what they were missing. She started to help solve more and more cases , it could be murder to a missing kid, Morgan with her attention to small details could solve anything. With the fast pace of the show you will not get bored. Morgan works with Detective Adam Karadec with sharp senses; nothing can get past him.
Morgan and Adam work with Daphne Forrester and Lev “Oz” Ozdil; altogether they make a great team.
My favorite episodes are season 1 episode 5, about Dr. Monica Davis is an exotic animal vet. She was found dead in her office with red bumps on her hands with the words murder printed all around her. She was killed by a poison dart frog’s toxin from the soap dispenser. Then they found a darker secret about Dr. Monica when they were investigating her death.
Something about Morgan she uses non-trial methods, when she is investigating, she will take evidence home from the station and steal something from an apartment to help with the case.
The show also explores Morgan’s personal life, including parenting and financial struggles, when she started this job she did not have a car. The way she would get around is by bus or a friend’s car. When she got her first pay check she went to the shop and got her car back. Morgan got home and honked the car and her kids came running out and were so happy.
High Potential is a really wonderful show. I would recommend it if you love solving cases and cliff hangers. I really love how fast pace the show is and when I think I know who is the murder then it is someone else ,the show is unpredictable. Morgan can tell that this person did not do it because the wind in the background was blowing a different way then that day.
