On August 7th, 2025, my best friend and I went to the Secret Of Us Tour. That is the name of the Gracie Abrams concert. We took a road trip to Inglewood, Los Angeles, and had so much fun on the way. The concert was at the Kia Forum Stadium, which is a huge indoor arena mainly used for concerts and live events. Gracie Abrams is an American singer/songwriter. Her music often mixes pop and indie pop. Along with going on tour, she opened for bigger music artists such as Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift. In 2023, Gracie Abrams won her Grammy nomination for “Best New Artist”.
When we got to the hotel, Chloe and I were jumping with excitement as we quickly got ready so that we could see the opening act, Griff. Griff is not a super popular artist, but I don’t see why, because I believe her music was amazing. Chloe and I wore white skirts and yellow T-shirts, mine said “I love you, I’m sorry,” and hers said “I miss you, I’m sorry”. We chose these because they are some of our favorite songs by Gracie Abrams. We also had dark blue bows in our hair and sparkles on our faces.
The stadium was giant, with hundreds of rows and seats. We got to our seats and watched the opening show, but not before we took a bunch of photos. Sitting in the V.I.P area were the famous actors Noah Beck and Lola Tung. Noah Beck waved to Chloe and I, we were very happy. Finally, the concert started, and Gracie Abrams came onto stage. The first song that she was called “Risk” is an upbeat song that is one of my favorites. Everyone was singing, screaming, and having the funnest night of their lives. It got really hot and humid in the stadium for the first couple of songs, but then it got cooler. She also gives a speech expressing how grateful she is for all of her fans and her deep connection with music.
During her concerts, Gracie walks through the crowd meeting her fans while videos of them go onto the screen. She gets to this island in the middle of the stadium that is a replica of her childhood bedroom. She plays the piano and does a surprise song. It is always a song that she has written but at the show that I went to, she sang the ten minute version of “All Too Well” by Taylor Swift. Everyone knew the song and sang along to the whole thing. It was such a magical moment and it was like everyone knew each other. This whole concert was so much fun and I loved it so much. It was one of the best nights of my life.
This concert is really fun if you want to dance and sing your heart out, or if you just want to sit and listen to the music. The band is amazing and so is her voice. There are colorful lights and good vibes the whole time just making it a fun way to spend the night. This whole experience was breathtaking from the opening act, to the very last song.
